You do realise that Breaking Bad was originally broadcast in 2008, in 1080p? The 4k was released as remastered, implying that the original filming format wasn't 4k. 4k seems unlikely, I am guessing it was delivered in the intended format for broadcast. The TV station must have recieved the series in some format ready for broadcasting. So you were able to download the 4K version, but you don't think that they had a 4K source to make the 1080 version from.
